Underwater Schools of America provides scuba instruction, gear and all kinds of diving information and opportunities for scuba diving beginners and experts in the greater Twin Cities (Minnesota) metropolitan area. We have been in business since 1972, and we offer top quality scuba instruction and equipment to Minnesota divers. U.S.A. is a full-service scuba diving store with instruction, merchandise, air fills, scuba equipment, rental and adventure dive travel. Individual or guided tours are available.
Our store is a modern, state-of-the-art facility complete with a heated in-store pool and 2,000 square feet merchandise.
U.S.A. Offers select major brands of equipment such as Scubapro, Oceanic and Aqualung. Our specialty supplies include Ikelite, Deep See, O.S. Systems Dry Systems, New Wave Semi custom Wetsuits and Trident accessories to name a few.
SCUBAFLEX
U.S.A. is proud to offer SCUBAFLEX, the most modern, thorough, and convenient Scuba Certification available. SCUBAFLEX is a unique program that uses individualized skill-based training so each student can progress at his/her own pace.
ALL SCUBA CLASSES ARE NOT EQUAL!
Most scuba programs use a compressed teaching schedule and large classes with little or no time left for individual attention and instruction. Students are expected to keep up with the group. If they are unable to, the are often transferred out of the class.
U.S.A. believes in quality, NOT quantity. Our instructors work under our direct management, unlike some operations that out-source scuba classes to independent contractors. Our teach philosophy is simple: each and every student will receive as much time needed to gain the necessary skills and to become comfortable with their level of diving.
No shortcuts, no abbreviated sessions, and no pressure to keep up with the group.
Our results: students learn the skills they need at a pace that works for them.
Our staff is comprised of professionals with over 160 years of combined diving experience.

Mon - Thur (10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
Friday (11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
Saturday (10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
