Scuba Instruction
Why take our scuba course?
No Groups! No peer pressure! No fixed schedule. Our course is offered individually or to couples in the convenience of our 89 degree indoor pool on a pace and schedule determined by the student, not the school. You pick the times and dates and work privately with our instructors at a pace never exceeding your comfort level. When you have satisfactorily mastered all the skills in the pool, your instructor will sign off and you will be ready for the final phase of your scuba certification.
How can I finish the open water training in the winter?
If you are already planning a trip to a warm water destination, Underwater Schools of America will provide you with a Universal Referral that is accepted by all major teaching organizations. You simply complete the requirements on your trip and return your form to us for your permanent scuba certification card.
As an alternative, U.S.A. offers several short and regular dive trips during the winter months where a U.S.A. instructor is available to complete your open water training dives.
What about advanced scuba training?
Underwater Schools of America is sanctioned by Scuba Schools International as an Instructor Training Facility. We offer ten different specialty certifications and dive leader training up through Advanced Instructor Level.
How much are classes?
Course fees vary seasonally and by the number of family members enrolling. Please call Underwater Schools of America for current pricing information.
